Apply to Miquon

1. Submit your Application for 2024-2025

We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2024. Our priority deadline for admissions is December 8, 2023.

To initiate the admissions process, submit an online application. The next steps in our process will populate on our Admissions Portal once your application is processed. Our Admissions Team will also send you a letter detailing next steps upon receipt of your application.

2. Family Meeting

If you have not already participated in a tour or phone call with Bree McNamara, Director of Admissions, prior to submitting your application, please do so by using our online scheduler. This conversation will be an important part of the admissions process and should be accomplished before your child’s visit.

3. Child visits Miquon

Schedule your child’s visit through our Admissions Portal.

  • Nursery and Kindergarten applicants will visit campus for one of our Play Days. Nursery candidates will visit on Saturday, January 6. Kindergarten candidates will visit on Friday, December 15 or Saturday, December 16.
  • First grade applicants visit for one morning. Second grade candidates visit for one school day. Third through sixth grade applicants visit for two, consecutive school days.

All 1st-6th grade applicants will spend time with a classroom group, visit specialists and participate in reading, writing and math assessments. Occasionally it is necessary to arrange a second visit or to gather additional information before a decision is made.

Outside testing is not required, but if it already has been conducted, we ask to see the reports.

4. Information Gathering

We require that all first grade through sixth grade applicants submit a teacher recommendation form from their current teacher and request that their academic records be sent to Miquon from their current school. This process can be initiated on our Admissions Portal.

5. Decision

For those who have met our December 8, 2023 priority application deadline, we will notify you of our admissions decision on February 1, 2024.

6. Acceptance and Enrollment

Enrollment contracts are mailed with the letter of acceptance. A signed contract and non-refundable deposit of $750 are required to hold a place for the applicant. If you are applying for financial aid, the non-refundable deposit is $150.

7. Applying for Financial Aid

Applications for admission are considered independently of the financial aid application process. A decision about admission is made without regard to a candidate’s need for financial support. Financial aid is awarded to eligible families on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note: The priority deadline for financial aid is January 5, 2024. Reference our website for specifics on deadlines and how to apply.
