News Miquon bards perform in Germantown
Kudos to the Miquon 4th graders who performed at the Germantown Poetry Festival on April 17. With the help of teacher Mark Palacio they composed, edited, polished, and practiced reciting their original works. The Philadelphia Tribune carried this article.

| One child, one tree, one beautiful Miquon
Thanks to a grant from TreeVitalize, funds have been made available for the purchase of 145 young trees. In May, every child at Miquon will plant a tree, and subsequently groups will tend the areas they planted. This surely takes the sting out of all the tree damage and loss we experienced during the winter storms!
