Our work in the 1/2 classroom is guided by children who incessantly question, reflect and collaborate, while learning to appreciate the multiple ways of thinking and knowing. Because we understand and believe in the importance of learning as a social and creative process, we have intentionally created a space wherein all ideas are valued, welcome and heard. Our classroom is a happy, bustling place full of eager and independent children. We are a sensitive and cooperative learning community that feels comfortable taking risks and supporting one another as learners.
