The Wissahickon section of Fairmount Park is a wonderful resource. Once on the trails along the Wissahickon Creek, the students became hiking companions, explorers, and "back in the woods."
As we crossed and re-crossed the creek, we discovered many of the Wissahickon's unique historical, geological, and physical properties.
