11.8 Admissions Information Evening

Thursday, November 8, 6:30 pm
Miquon 5th-6th Grade Building

Current and prospective parents alike should make plans to attend our Admissions Information Evening to hear from some of our young alumni about their Miquon experience. Each will share their unique history and all the benefits of a Miquon education from their own perspective.

Fifth and sixth grade teachers will also be on hand to answer your questions about the critical work that takes place in the older grades at Miquon as we prepare our students for middle school and beyond.

Please RSVP to Andrea Myers, Director of Admissions and Financial Aid, by emailing andream@miquon.org or phoning 610.828.1231.

Miquon alumni are known for the depth at which they approach their work, their curiosity, and their self confidence. Much of this is attributed to the unique Progressive educational program we offer here at Miquon in our fifth and sixth grade classrooms. Longtime fifth and sixth grade Miquon teacher Diane Webber strives to impart a love of learning to all her students, and assistant teacher Sarah Yanuck brings intellectual curiosity and joy in making connections with children.

The Nursery blog provides a detailed account of daily life in the Miquon Nursery for three and four year-olds. Each year is different, which is what makes Miquon’s Nursery program truly progressive: our respond to the children’s ideas and interests, and create a unique curriculum tailored to those interests as a result.  Our teachers guide the children as they discover new things about the world, leading them through a purposeful, structured exploration of those things in a child-centered, playful manner.
