I have been a proud Miquon parent for several years and look forward to many more. From the beginning, we have been very impressed by our children’s experiences, the teachers, the community, and the staff. I especially value the many things that make Miquon a unique environment for early childhood education. From the immense natural setting to a hands-on approach to learning, we feel very lucky to have found this special school.
As many dedicated Miquon parents, I often think about the many ways the school can become a national leader in the things it does so well. I tend to focus on topics related to my interests and background in the creative process, education, curriculum and design. I hold degrees in Architecture from MIT and UC Berkeley, and I currently teach architectural studio courses at Jefferson University. In addition, I maintain a small residential design practice.
