Buildings and Grounds Committee Chair and Executive Committee Member, Board of Directors
I have been a proud Miquon parent for two years and look forward to many more. My son began attending the Nursery this year and I have a daughter in Kindergarten. From the beginning, we have been very impressed by our children’s experiences, the teachers, the community, and the staff. I especially value the many things that make Miquon a unique environment for early childhood education. From the immense natural setting to a hands-on approach to learning, we feel very lucky to have found this special school.
As many dedicated Miquon parents, I often think about the many ways the school can become a national leader in the things it does so well. I tend to focus on topics related to my interests and background in the creative process, education, curriculum and design. I hold degrees in Architecture from MIT and UC Berkeley, and I currently teach architectural studio courses at Philadelphia University. In addition, I maintain a small residential design practice.
