Rick Moses '71

Member, Board of Directors

As a graduate and the parent of a Miquon graduate, the values and the philosophy of the school have had a lasting and profound impact on me, my son and my family.

The Miquon experience proved to be an excellent foundation for my middle school/secondary years at Friends’ Central School and postsecondary years at Temple University (BA ,Accounting – Fox School of Business and Masters, Urban Education – Graduate School of Education). In my professional career, I have served in a number of roles across the corporate, nonprofit and education sectors including: commercial lender – Mellon & PNC Banks , marketing executive -Xerox Corporation, President – Steppingstone Scholars Philadelphia, Vice President – Philadelphia Academies Inc., Director – Philadelphia Education Fund, Director of Alumni Affairs – Friends’ Central School, and Dean of Upper School -Brooklyn Friends School.

After many years , I am honored to return to the board for my second term. In keeping with the lyrics of the song, ”there will always be a little bit of Miquon in my heart.”
