Zoe Myers-Bochner

Hi, Miquon community! I graduated from Swarthmore College this past spring, where I studied education, psychology, and environmental studies. I am absolutely thrilled to be doing my student teaching work at Miquon this fall!!

Miquon practices the kind of teaching and learning that I’ve dreamed about doing for years, and that I thought might not be possible outside of my education seminars – a practice that is immersed in the natural world, makes room for exploration and wonder, centers community, and is rooted in a deep care for the people and places surrounding us.

I am so excited for the opportunity to learn and grow as an educator alongside my colleagues and students this fall! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy making bread, singing joyfully (and usually off-key), nature poetry, summer camp, and swimming long distances for fun.
