Carney, Sandoe & Associates
Miquon has engaged the Carney Sandoe team of John Faubert and Chaya Keefe to partner with us in this important search. John has spent more than twenty years running leadership searches for Carney Sandoe, and as such has worked closely with independent schools, their boards, and members of their leadership teams, forging close relationships in the market. He is a former teacher himself, having worked at The Hun School of Princeton. Chaya’s twenty years of independent school experience include a decade as a teacher, work as the Director of Accreditation for the Northwest Association of Independent Schools, and a headship at Bright Water Waldorf School.
Next Steps: Community Meetings and Survey
John and Chaya will visit Miquon for two days in May to meet with staff, students, and families. Please keep an eye on email and Miquon Matters for logistics and a registration form.
Following these conversations, they will circulate a confidential survey to help guide them as they develop the Head of School posting, and to inform the search committee as we seek a candidate who fits Miquon’s needs. We encourage all members of our community to participate.
