How to Raise an Adult Book Talk
Tues, Feb 13, 7 pm | SCH Cherokee Campus, Upper School Auditorium

Julie Lythcott-Haims’ book was the focus of a Miquon parent get-together last year. Miquon parents who heard her talk locally last year found her to be wise, empathetic, and funny.

Former Stanford Dean of Freshmen, the author will share insights from How to Raise an Adult: Break Free from the Overparenting Trap and Prepare your Kid for Success. Her book is said to be “a rallying cry for those who wish to ensure that the next generation can take charge of their own lives with competence and confidence.” Her presentation is relevant to parents of toddlers as well as of twentysomethings–and of special value to parents of teens.
