Visit Miquon this Spring

Come to Open House on Thursday, May 9!

We do prefer that parents visit the school before making an application.

Visit Miquon in person, and learn how we put your child at the center of her own education.

You’ll see school in session and visit classrooms where our emergent curriculum is both child-led and intentionally designed by our teachers.

There is no better way to learn about Miquon and get a first-hand impression of our school community!

Open House: Thursday, May 9, 9:00 – 11:00 am

Tour the campus while school is in session, hear from Miquon parents, chat with Admissions Director Andrea Myers, and meet our talented teachers.

Please RSVP to Andrea by emailing andream@miquon.org or phoning 610.828.1231.

How is Miquon different?

Miquon children begin in our Nursery, continuing and deepening their whole selves, bodies, minds, and spirits to thrive all the way through our sixth grade and beyond.  Not only do Miquon graduates embark on the journeys of their lives prepared for the academics ahead — they are uniquely open-minded, open-hearted, resilient young people who know how to solve problems, think creatively, and advocate for themselves.

Nursery Blog

The Nursery blog provides a detailed account of daily life in the Miquon Nursery for three and four year-olds. Each year is different, which is what makes Miquon’s Nursery program truly progressive: our respond to the children’s ideas and interests, and create a unique curriculum tailored to those interests as a result.  Our teachers guide the children as they discover new things about the world, leading them through a purposeful, structured exploration of those things in a child-centered, playful manner.
