I am beyond excited to start my journey at Miquon. When I first heard about it, I was curious about its Progressive educational model and unique wooded setting. After visiting, I was totally enchanted by these qualities. When I saw the self-directedness with which students conduct themselves in and outside of the classroom, I knew this was a place I’d love to teach.

In the early years of my teaching journey, I worked as an outdoor adventure coordinator and experiential educator. Some of my favorite memories are teaching and learning alongside students with a curiosity and love for our natural world. I later completed a teaching fellowship and taught in New Mexico before moving to and teaching in Philadelphia. I look forward to blending my skills teaching in the outdoors with my experience as a classroom teacher at Miquon.

It will be my pleasure to guide Miquon students in discovering their interests and passions. I believe deeply in Miquon’s mission and am eager to contribute on its behalf.
