It’s amazing to me how quickly my family fell in love with Miquon. Everyday, and everywhere on its beautiful campus, my son has the chance to wonder at the natural world, as Miquon fosters his joy for learning, as well as his sense of justice. He continues to develop as an independent and confident thinker, who also understands himself as a member of a larger community.
In my own work, as a professor of political philosophy at Temple, I focus on how we can make the world a more peaceful place. In particular, I think about how we can find nonviolent means of conflict resolution through building trust, cultivating hope in the future, and developing relationships of solidarity.
I am honored to serve on the Board, and to contribute to this truly remarkable school and community.
