Marten Brown
I first heard about Miquon through the teaching fellowship program at William Penn Charter School in Philadelphia, where I completed a two-year fellowship and later became an associate teacher.
I was drawn to Miquon’s progressive learning approach, which aligns with my teaching style. I enjoy discovering how students learn best to nurture their talents and interests.
Beside associate teaching, my educational experience has been in many roles as an Assistant Teacher, Lead Teacher, Co-Teacher, Youth Director, all of which have deepened my commitment to fostering children’s growth.
I earned my Master’s degree in Education from Rosemont College and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Childhood Education from Chestnut Hill College.
In addition to teaching, I am a writer and have published a book, with more to come. I am also a proud girl dad to a vibrant, dance-loving little one who keeps my wife and I lives full of joy, laughter, and movement.
