Wendy Leitner-Sieber

I came to Miquon to teach in the fourth grade during the 2014-15 school year, looking forward to learning alongside children who are curious and immersed in the world around them. I love the freedom that we have at Miquon to delve deeply into topics of interest and to support the growth of children as they find new passions and share existing ones with each other.

Some of my favorite moments in our Miquon day include exploring puzzles with small math groups, writing poetry alongside the creek or in a tree, and sharing favorite read-aloud books with the children.

When not at school, most of my time is spent with my family, including my three daughters. Together we like to cook, read, visit the dog park, play board games, and take trips to the shore or the mountains of New Hampshire. I also love to write, play the cello, and get involved in events in our Germantown neighborhood.
