Move over, Minecraft

This week children in Diane and Jeri’s fifth and sixth grade group are beginning to actualize design plans as a part of their design-build study.  Thus far, the group has imagined a world which they have planned and created a scale model, and will now begin to actually build on a three-dimensional level.  They’ve had to organize their plans and come to agreements about how the various aspects (and inhabitants) of this imaginary world will interact.  Chock full of the things children dream, their design creation includes the likes Candyland and Mushroomlandia to New York City and Paris.
