Cara King

I specialize in teaching classical ballet and creative movement.
As a youth, I trained in the rigorous Royal Academy of Dance
syllabus (based in the U.K.) and completed the program’s official examinations. I also completed summer intensives at the
Pennsylvania Central Youth Ballet, and later went on to earn a degree in
Dance Performance and Choreography from Hope College in Michigan. 

After returning to the Philadelphia area, I began teaching ballet for the
Settlement Music School (Germantown) school partnership program, then later at Wissahickon Dance Academy in Philadelphia, and for residency programs for the non-profit organization International Ballet Exchange. 

I love children and the art of dance, which is why I also love teaching and have loads of fun doing it!
