Diane Webber

I enjoy the intellectual challenge and growth that is possible and encouraged at Miquon, for the adults in the community as well as the children. I find almost endless reasons to read, research, and follow threads of inquiry as I develop curriculum with and for children, and many like spirits among my colleagues. It’s an indulgence of my love of learning combined with an opportunity to share that love with growing young people. Before my current role, I was a teacher for about 13 years in elementary, middle school, and high school settings (including 2 years at Miquon), before taking a 14 year homeschooling adventure with my own family, facilitating and enjoying my own self-directed learning, with my own children and those of other not-in-school families.
