It is hard to overstate the importance of The Miquon School to me and my
family. Growing up in Miquon – we lived just up the street at the top of the
hill – I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend my days
exploring the woods and creek for creatures big and small, climb trees,
read books in the sun, and experience the joy of learning new things
without boundaries. It was a time that my core values and personality
were formed and set for life. My 6th grade diploma, hand painted by Betty
Cantor in 1969, is still a treasured piece of art hanging proudly in our
home.

Although my career trajectory as a physician has taken me away from the
Philadelphia area for most of my adult life, my connection to Miquon has
remained strong. I am honored to join the board, and look forward to
giving back to our school and community that has given me so much.
